ALUMINIUM Düsseldorf 2026 took place from October 6–8, bringing together industry professionals from across the global aluminium industry. At Stand 1A21, Scan Fit & Measure showcased its latest profile measurement systems, including the new SFM 250X, designed for automated inspection and quality control of aluminium extrusions directly on the production floor. Together with our German partners OGP Messtechnik GmbH and Klostermann GmbH 3D Messtechnik, we also presented the SNAP 100 measurement system. Visitors explored advanced measurement solutions for improving dimensional accuracy, speeding up profile inspection and making quality control processes more efficient.
Introducing the New SFM 250X
The highlight of our participation was the new SFM 250X, a shop-floor measurement system designed to inspect aluminium profiles up to 250 mm. Its redesigned construction is better suited to demanding production environments, bringing precise profile measurement closer to the extrusion lines.The SFM 250X introduces three key improvements. First is integrated air conditioning for controlled internal operating conditions. Secondly is uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for additional protection against power interruptions. Finally, dedicated profile cooling section for aluminium extrusions. Visitors also explored the SFM 600, designed for measuring larger profiles with a 600 × 400 mm field of view, and saw demonstrations of the SNAP 100 measurement system.
